FORGE PRO
DAILY

A mechanical day trading strategy built for prop firm traders. Three steps. One session window. Repeatable execution — every day.

Prop Firm Friendly London · New York · Asia Gold & Indices 30-Min Execution Mechanical Checklist

SIMPLE APPROACH.
SERIOUS RESULTS.

As financial traders we are always seeking to improve our strategy, our entry systems, and our efficiency on the markets. However, what often happens is that we find ourselves going in circles in that search and profitability slips away from us. Most traders experience this only to find out that sometimes a simple approach is the best approach.

Far too often a master craftsman becomes one from repetition — simple efforts directed toward greatness. This mindset is the reason we decided to strip down our approach and focus on what works: the most effective tools we can use to aid us. This strategy is made for day trading, prop firm friendly, and focused on solid timeframe analysis.

THE FRAMEWORK

Using solid timeframe analysis and market structure we determine a probable trend direction. We structure our trade around a specific session window and the most recent price levels. Entry follows a simple checklist — we only enter when the market meets our requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED

01

Forge Pro

Frames and locks the session's Initial Balance. Paints the trigger signal, TP levels, and entry zones directly on the chart. Settings guide and indicator breakdown included in your download package.

02

MTF Candles Pro

Multi-timeframe candle intelligence. Color-coded to show conviction direction and data underneath the price action. Works alongside Forge Pro for advanced entry confirmation.

✦ Both tools included in the Full Access Bundle

01

IDENTIFY DIRECTION

1-Hour Timeframe — Bias & Key Levels

We start on the 1-hour timeframe and ask two simple questions: are we above or below the moving average, and where are the nearest levels of liquidity and immediate support or resistance?

We are looking to trade only a certain window of time — for example, the first 4 hours of London — and will focus only on the nearest areas of interest. We analyse but don't over-analyse. If there is too much speculation, it will work against us when we enter the trade.

The less we have to think about, the better. Get in. Get paid. Get out.

Mark the nearest swing high and low as possible liquidity levels, and identify the most immediate level of support and resistance. Until price closes below the 8 EMA, the bias is long. Keep it simple.

02

FRAME THE TRADE

30-Minute Timeframe — Initial Balance Lock
Strategy chart 3

Drop down to the 30-minute timeframe. This is where Forge Pro shows itself. It frames the first hour of your chosen session — the Initial Balance — the period during which institutional traders step into the market.

More often than not, price will compress inside this frame before attempting to move toward levels of liquidity. This framing gives our trade idea an actionable, repeatable entry trigger.

So far we have established bias and immediate levels of interest with clear, simple steps. Now we have a physical frame around price. A break and candle close above it creates a plausible thesis that price wants to move toward the swing high. A break below, and we may be heading lower.

While price sits inside the frame — we wait.

03

EXECUTE THE ENTRY

30-Minute Chart — Trigger, Wick, Pending Order
Entry Checklist — All Four Must Be Met
  • 1-Hour trend bias confirmed ✓
  • Immediate levels of interest identified from the 1-hour ✓
  • IB Frame locked on the 30-minute ✓
  • Break and candle close outside the IB Frame ✓

Forge Pro paints a signal on the trigger candle — the candle that closes outside the IB frame. TP levels are also painted directly on the chart. All execution is done on the 30-minute chart.

Price is easier to read here. You have more time to assess your idea. And the profits will come just as fast as lower timeframe execution.

01

Wait for the Opposing Wick

After the trigger candle closes outside the frame, wait for an opposing wick to begin forming. A long entry means a lower wick. Most candles on these higher timeframes will form one.

02

Place Pending Order

Set a pending order at the trigger candle's close price. When price pushes back toward the trend direction, it will trigger your entry automatically.

03

Manage the Trade

Order triggered. TP levels are already marked by Forge Pro. Aim for TP1 for consistent results. Tighten stop to breakeven as the trade develops in your direction.

SL 1 — Recommended

Trigger candle opposing wick. Allows the trade sufficient room to breathe. Use this as your primary stop — tighten to SL2 and eventually breakeven as price moves in your favour.

SL 2 — Tighter Option

Current candle opposing wick. A tighter stop for those wanting reduced risk exposure. Move to this level once the trade is progressing. Then advance to breakeven.

TRADE WITH INTENTION

This strategy is built for consistency — not every day. Knowing when not to trade is as important as knowing when to trade.

⟲

Short Trades — Inverse the Criteria

For sell setups: price under the 8 EMA on the 1-hour, break and close below the IB frame on the 30-minute. The same checklist — inverted.

⏸

No Break? No Trade.

Some days price will not break during your session window. That is fine. We don't trade just to trade. A setup that meets the criteria is always just around the corner.

↗

No Wick? Move On.

If the next candle runs away without forming a wick, let it go. Chasing price leads to a bad entry and the real possibility of the market reversing against you. Cancel the order. Move on.

✕

Accept the Loss

A trade that meets every criterion can still be a loss. It happens. This strategy has a high win rate — not a 100% win rate. Nothing does. Trade smart, manage risk, and base your thesis on probability.

🧠

FOMO Is Part of the Game

When price takes off without triggering your pending order, yes — FOMO will come. That is part of the game. A missed trade is infinitely better than a bad one.
